Congratulations to the Crimson Wolves Team for obtaining the Bronze Medal at the iGEM Design League with their proposal to create a precise mechanism to detect colorectal cancer! They also got nominations in two categories: Best design implementation and Best scientific infographic.
The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is a worldwide synthetic biology competition that was initially aimed at undergraduate university students, but has since expanded to include divisions for high school students, entrepreneurs, and community laboratories.

Congratulations to our undergraduate student, Daniel Castañeda Ruan (Biological Sciences Junior), for presenting his research project at the XXII Congreso Mexicano de Botánica this week. His poster was titled: "Creación de un catálogo preliminar de especies de plantas de Arkansas State University en Querétaro, México, con la ayuda de la plataforma Naturalista." Daniel has been working intensively on this project with the support and supervision of Dr. Javier Miguelena.

Welcome to The Wolf Street Journal, the business journal of the Arkansas State University Campus Querétaro written by undergraduate students.
The aim of The Wolf is to contribute to the discussion of current business problems by sharing insightful analysis related to economics, finance, management, and more. In addition, the journal promotes the development of research skills among undergraduate students, as well as critical thinking. Congratulations to our engineering students, the Wolves Racing team, that just won a podium spot at the F-SAE National Competition 2021. They designed a racing vehicle and obtained the 3rd place for their cost analysis. One step at a time will get us to the top soon!
